The halfway-life checkpoint
Obtain replacements by half of the equipment’s useful life unless two compatible units are already on standby, tested and ready to go. Allow for delivery and commissioning before that deadline.
The meaning of “two” is still being defined: individual modules, assemblies or complete servers, and the pool they protect. Prices below preserve those distinctions. Existing working equipment does not automatically retire at halfway life.

Tax, freight, installation, immersion conversion/approval and additional coverage are not included unless expressly confirmed in a supplier quote. A populated baseboard still needs a host. Listed warranty duration is not the useful-life assumption. Seller availability has not been reserved.
Translate a purchase into a rent reserve
Choose the purchase scope and quantity yourself while the standby-pool rule is being finalized. This scenario calculates the reserve needed by the order deadline; it does not place an order or change other dashboard budgets.
Warranty covers the baseboard plus its eight NVLink-connected GPUs. Enter their combined purchase value per listed unit; when buying a whole server, use the assembly portion of its price. The percentage is a total allowance for the entered coverage term, not an annual rate. Apply it only to coverage not already included in the purchase price; enter zero if no extra allowance is needed. Use the same age/life basis, including prior use for used equipment where known. Unknown costs stay blank; explicitly enter zero only where appropriate. Reserve assumes full funding at order, no investment return, no price decline and no resale credit.
